1970-1974  Practiced law in NYC with Weil, Gotshal & Manges
1974-1991  CEO Silo, Inc., a  chain of electronics and appliance stores, based in Phila.  Helped build Silo into a national chainof 250 stores with sales of over $1billion. Sold the company in 1987 to a British retail group, Dixons and left the company at the experation of my contract in 1991.
1991-2005 Joined the faculty of the Wharton School, teaching courses and Retailing and Retail Marketing.

1992-present   President of the Feinberg Group, a private equity firm based in Phila.  Was involved as an investor and director of a number of primarily retail businesses, including:  The Children’s Place; Hibbitt Sporting Goods; Charlotte Russe; Mimi’s Cafe; America’s Best Contact and Eyeglasses; and a number of others.
I have been married for 42 years and have two children and four grandchildren.  I reside in Villanova, but spend the winters in Scottsdale, AZ.
