Founded Ventures Medical Associates, a healthcare venture capital firm, in 1986 in Houston, TX. VMA invested in 23 companies over 16 year period. Served as Chairman of the Board for 8 of the companies. 7 of the companies went public and 8 were M&A deals.
Prior to VMA, served as President & CEO of BCM Technologies (Baylor College of Medicine), a technology transfer company.
In addition, served in senior level marketing and management positions for Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, and Baxter.
