I have been in Houston Texas for the past 34 years. Married 43 years to Caroline Lessner (Girls High) and we have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I am semi retired, enjoy good health and blessed with a wonderful family. I stay pretty active with some business activity, investments, travel, exercise and charitable boards.
My career took me from practicing law for a number of years, and then in the early 1980’s, into the healthcare business. I have been CEO of 2 public companies and I am currently Chairman of Kindred Healthcare, Inc. I also sit on the board of a number of other companies both public and private and I am an operating partner at a private equity firm.
