Professional Bio
Steven B. Gordon, Ph.D., ABPP is Executive Director and Founder of Behavior Therapy Associates in Somerset, New Jersey. He is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey (NJ Lic. # 936) and is a Diplomate in Behavior Therapy from The American Board of Behavioral Psychology and a Diplomate in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology.
In addition Dr. Gordon is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, University of Medicine and Dentistry of NewJersey and is a Contributing Faculty member at The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. Dr. Gordon Jersey and is a Contributing Faculty member at The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. Dr. Gordon consults to private and public schools, conducts workshops on the topics of behavior therapy with children, adolescents and families, and has written numerous articles and book chapters. Dr. Gordon has also co-authored four books with the most recent being The Behavior Problems Resource Kit.
Personal Bio
Steve has been married to Rita (of Girls High) for 45 years and has two children and two grandchildren. When not working and spending time with family he plays a lot of golf (7 handicap), works out at Crossfit, skis and likes to travel.
